Nasıl Araştırıyoruz

Transparency: CompareSauna is a research-based comparison site.
We do not physically test products unless explicitly stated. All recommendations
are based on verified evidence from primary sources.
Source hierarchy
We use a tiered evidence system. Facts must be supported by primary sources, not just repeated across affiliate blogs.
Tier A — Primary authoritative
- Official manufacturer product pages
- Official manufacturer manuals and installation guides
- Official specification sheets and datasheets
- Official warranty documents
- Amazon Creators API for current pricing, availability, and ASIN data
Tier B — Strong secondary
- Reputable specialist retailers publishing manufacturer data
- Independent testing organizations
- Recognized standards or regulatory bodies
Tier C — Context only
- Blogs, forums, and user discussions
- Non-authoritative comparison sites
Tier C alone never establishes a technical product fact. It can identify questions to investigate, but never answer them.
What we verify
For every product in a comparison, we attempt to verify:
- Exterior and interior dimensions
- Rated electrical power and voltage
- Heater type and specifications
- Occupancy capacity
- Materials and construction
- Temperature range (where documented)
- Indoor/outdoor rating
- Assembly requirements
- Warranty terms
- Certifications (only if documented)
If we cannot verify a specification from a primary source, we either:
- Attribute the claim explicitly to its source
- Rewrite the statement more narrowly
- Omit the claim
- Omit the product from the comparison
Conflict resolution
When sources disagree (e.g., Amazon listing says 1800W but the manual says 1500W), we:
- Verify the exact model and variant
- Check manual revision dates
- Seek a second manufacturer source
- If unresolved, exclude that specification or note the conflict openly
We never choose whichever value makes the article easier.
What we don't do
- Claim hands-on testing that didn't happen
- Infer specifications from product photographs
- Convert marketing language into objective facts
- Invent review statistics or aggregate ratings
- Scrape Amazon customer reviews without API authorization
